Yasmine helped me find and buy the house of my dreams in 2011. She really listened to everything I said I needed and wanted in a home in terms of neighborhood qualities, layout, and amenities and made sure I got to see a wide range of options throughout the process to help hone my 'must have' list and get more focused. She organized many tours where we would go look at many houses and she was helpful in pointing out pluses and minuses on houses that I was too inexperienced to see which definitely saved me from leaping toward a bad decision. When I found my perfect house, Yasmine spent her Saturday getting the offer to the listing agent and made sure that my offer would be accepted over the other offer on the table AND also keep me protected in case something came up during inspections. Yasmine has a great rolodex of people to do inspections and other consultations which made everything go super quick and also get me the info I needed to feel good about my purchase. The house was a short-sale and I think Yasmine's persistent follow up made it move quicker than most (about 6 weeks) and the deal was super clean (I did not pay a lot of extra's that many short sales come with). This was in 2011 and at one point I was getting tired of looking and thinking of waiting and Yasmine had the foresight to push me to keep at it as this was a good time to buy that would not last. I am so happy I kept at it as within 6 months of closing, prices in my neighborhood started zooming up and within a year the house was appraised for 20%. If I had waited, I would not have been able to afford this house or any in this neighborhood (Glenview, Oakland) I still LOVE my house and never have had one moment of buyer’s remorse and am so grateful I had Yasmine guiding me to this happy ending!

We recently moved from the East Coast and not knowing anyone locally, we decided to interview several realtors and chose Yasmine. Our requirements were 1) knowledge of the town especially experience raising children through all three school levels 2) connections to and good experiences with contractors, inspectors, etc. 3) a great eye for details and 4) great negotiation skills. Previously, we looked at 30 homes over 3 months on several house hunting trips, only to come up empty.
